Big Southern Road Trip Part II

2956 Miles
5 States
4 Cities
3 Family visits
10 Gallons of Gas Station Coffee.

If you saw Part 1 of this trip you know our first stop was New Orleans. From there we tromped all though Texas starting in New Braunfels to see Mr's cousin and his awesome family. That is such a beautiful part of Texas!
Then we headed on to Lubbock, Texas to see my Gigi & Papa and some cousins.
Our last stop was in Dallas where we met my parents for a day. Here’s the photo dump.

Gruene & New Braunfels

Texas is funny. One second we’re in awe of the hill country and its bluebonnets and the next…

It’s true- West Texas has a lot of dirt, wind, and tumbleweeds. But, it holds a special place in my heart- I love mi familia!
This is blurry, but they were so happy to be eating breakfast at Gigi & Papa’s after so many hours in the car.

Typical Koko (not her real name) mood + A tradition- Nails with GiGi!

Gigi’s back porch paradise : )

Cousin fun

To Dallas – My parents met us there from Kansas. We spent the day at the Dallas Arboretum. I highly recommend it!
Sweetest picture ever. They were so happy to see their “Ammy and T-pa”

Koko (not her real name) was kind of done with our trip about day 8 and was not feeling very good. This is why she looks like she hates us in most of these photos!

Quick taco break before we head home.

The trip was blissful and the girls were so so good in the car. Koko (not her real name) puked on the way home and we stayed in the worst hotel ever- but it is already a good story. Spring break 2016 is conquered.
A special thank to Mr for being a really really awake driver while I snoozed my life away in the car ; )
