Fall is already turning out to be exciting here at Sally Manlove Photography! We are waist-deep in workshop prep, Family & Senior sessions, loving on our precious toddler, and attempting to pick a baby name : )

Oct 6- NEXT weekend!- Moms with Cameras Wichita workshop. Still a few spots left! I am so excited to have a great group of ladies joining me next weekend for a workshop on understanding your camera and documenting your family.

Nov 10-11- Holiday Mini Sessions. For families & children. A ‘mini’ priced 30 minute session that includes 10 edited images on a disk. Great for Holiday cards! See open spots HERE. 

Dec 20- Sally goes on Maternity leave for our little girl due in late January. I may do a few studio sessions, but generally will be booking starting in March.

This month’s most-asked questions:

1- What’s in your gear bag?  I don’t mind sharing…My main camera is a Canon 5D MarkII. 90% of the time I use a 50mm 1.2L lens for portrait photography. I carry a Canon 580 EXII Speedlight and external battery pack. My back-up camera is a Nikon D300s and 50mm lens.

2-Why do you include your digital files in your session fee? Most studios make you buy lots of expensive prints.- When setting up our pricing, I couldn’t help but ask myself what I would want when booking a photographer. One, is affordability. I have that middle class syndrome that wants a good product for a reasonable price. Two, is I want access to my photos. I want to be able to share the gallery with family and friends and not just the few purchased prints.
