Sometimes a photo has more than meets the eye.
For example, this photo of the beautiful Ali did have some unsightly background noise before the edit. Here is the final edit- All the focus is on the subject.
And here is how the scene really looked…there are not pretty, distracting elements in the distance.
In Photoshop CS5 I used my clone tool to select different areas of grass to extend the background. I kept the light patterns so it would appear like natural sun spots. I then used a Gaussian blur filter on some of the grass to ‘fade’ the cloning and give depth to the photo. So easy! Goodbye ugly truck, Hello to all attention on the lovely Ali! I also did some color correction and used ‘Oh Snap!’ at 16% opacity by Totally Rad Actions.
